Aliases
An alias is a name that this person is known by or has used in the past. When you enter an alias, the name will automatically display in the Person Look-up List and will be easily associated with the person you are listing here.
The alias area can be used to add a new name or to edit the main name by adding the new name to the profile and the old name to the alias area. For example, a child is adopted and the last name is changed. Either enter the new last name in the alias area or change the last name for the child and add the old last name to the alias area.
The alias section is located within the Bio just below the Runaway Incidents area.
To add an alias, click Add New Record then enter what you know of the ‘First Name’, ‘Last Name’ and the ‘Middle Name’. Click ‘Update’ to save the alias.
Click ‘Edit’ to make changes to the alias.
If you search using the alias name it will indicate that it is an alias.
Nick Names
If a person has a nick name that they go by it can be added in the Nick Name field within the Personal Profile.
When a nick name is added it will show in parentheses with the persons name.
