NCAtrak Set Up Instructions to allow names to be shared with other CACs in your State

How to set up NCAtrak to allow other NCAtrak users in your State to search to see if  access to pull reports of non-identifying data about services provided by member CACs.

  • Security Officers of NCAtrak have permission to configure the database through Administration CAC/MDT Set Up as indicated below.

 

  • To share names check the check box for the option Share Names with other CACs in the state.

  • Roles will also need to be configured to allow the user to search for names.

  • The Search Chapter button is how to search for names to see if the person has been to another CAC in your state. 

 

  • The Search Chapter Button is located on both the Person Search and within the Case Record in the People Tab when editing or viewing the Bio.

  • By Clicking the Search Chapter button it goes to the following Lookup Chapter Person where you can search by Last and First Name. The system will share any similar names within the NCAtrak systems of CACs who have activated the share names option in their NCAtrak system. It will list Last Name, First Name, Alias, Year of Birth, CAC, and the CAC contact Information.
